Bake Off!!!!

I plan to do a bit of baking on the weekend....Christmas Cake....I'm all prepared, although I was taken aback by the young girl at the supermarket checkout who asked me if I was baking....she sort of stated the obvious when my basket was loaded up with flour, sugar, butter, eggs, dried fruit... I'll give her brownie points she actually made a point of communicating...."Yes" I replied..."I'm making Fruit Cake"....her response "Ewwww, do people still eat that?"  Well I do!
