I sauntered off to the supermarket this morning.....it was too beautiful not to. Just when we thought Winter was on our doorstep here in Melbourne....a week of 20+ temperatures beckon....sunshine and warmth....it's like the Indian Summer came back!! I have the best walk to my local supermarket.....I do have one literally 100 metres up the road, but since I've been unemployed I've been walking to the bigger one around 20 minutes away and every time I walk it on a day like today I realise how great my hood is!
So the 20 minute walk to the supermarket and the 20 minutes back turned into 120 minutes....but it was worth it!
Photography gorgeousness! Lovely hood indeed...ReplyDelete
You'll get no arguments from me Kris....and taking that camera everywhere I go helps! VxDelete
really good pics!!!!!ReplyDelete
Thank you Ale. VxDelete
What a great surrounding (= hood?) you live in! (jealous over here, I would SO love living near the sea)ReplyDelete
Didn't understand the word "hood" (thought you meant car hood, but that didn't make much sense, since I read Kristie's comment, I get it, so learned something today)
Come over at mine's, perhaps you would like to join my giveaway.
Lol!! Yes as in neighborhood....sorry I should have said. I'll pop over and have a look, thanks for letting me know. VxDelete
Melbourne really is an awesome city hey! Great photos Vicki...I'd walk 120minutes if I could take all of that in ;-) x DreReplyDelete
Yes I do love it....I was contemplating moving, but now I work so close to where I live, I think I'll stay put. VxDelete
Such beautiful pictures!ReplyDelete
Thank you VxDelete
Such a beautiful walk to the supermarket... do hope your new job still allows you to do such lovely things! I remember my uncle making a film when I was younger which featured the iconic Lunar Park entrance in it somewhere... can't remember much else about it now!ReplyDelete
Yeah it's pretty iconic.....there is also one in Sydney on the harbour.....the big mouth!! Gosh it's been there for ever. I remember my first trip there as a child.....I love that it still has the old roller coaster with the wooden structure....reminds me of something you'd find in Blackpool or Coney Island!Delete
