Blanket Endings...



I think this is truly my favourite item I have ever made.....I just can't stop staring at it.......Scrumptious, big, bright bold baby blanket!!  Love, love, love.  There is some info about this blanket at the bottom of the post.

    1. Thanks Tammi, it has sold overnight in my Etsy store. I know it's going to a good home. A loyal d&m customer that lives in Tasmania, and has a very large collection of d&m blankets!! I certainly am looking forward to making another one of these albeit in a different colour combo!

  3. Truly gorgeous and inspiring! I have a phobia for making blankets with so many ends to weave in, but I just may have to get over it! thanks so much for sharing.

    1. You're welcome, thanks for your comment, but I will say....blanket making is one of the most satisfying things you can do.....and as a tip, I sew the ends in as I go. I make one square, then make sure I don't move onto the next one, until the ends are sewn in on the previous one.....I also crochet the squares together in rows. This also then limits the amount of work you have to do sewing in joining threads....I have a blanket on the go at the moment, I'll try and pop up a tutorial type of post maybe later this week....There is nothing worse than getting to the end of the crochet, and spending weeks on ends......Sew as you go....that's my motto. Vic x
