Day 22 ..... Home

This is a sort of August Photo A Day post and a sort of teeny tiny blog post.....Today is Home.....and with that, yesterday I had a work place injury......twice no less!!

I've gouged the back of my hand.....and seriously folks I don't remember how I did it, and it only happened yesterday.  I know I was looking for my keys and what I do remember was the pain was so excruciating I think I've just erased the incident from my memory....and no I hadn't been drinking!!

I'm now left with a horribly sore gash in the back of my hand....very red and angry and hopefully not infected.....but the worst part of all of this in my black out period of initial pain, I tripped over the sewing machine cover that was on the kitchen floor, and have done a similar injury to the side of my foot......working at home isn't all it's cracked up to be!!

Day 21 ..... Cool

Cool if not a cold day in West Hampstead, January 1994.  Snowman we made in our back garden....I worked as a Nanny....the things you do!!

Day 18 ..... Inside

It's wet cold and grey in Melbourne today....the weather has been quite miserable for days.  Perfect knitting weather.....so Inside it is again today.....you'll get no argument from me!!

Day 17 ... Faces

"Meet you under the clocks".... a saying that most Melburnians know.....Clock Faces at Flinders Street Station.

Day 16 .... Food

I'm trying to be economical, that means taking food to work instead of buying it....Lunch, chicken and lettuce sandwich, rice cakes with peanut butter, carrots, celery and cherry toms...and a Tunnocks dark chocolate caramel wafer biscuit....better than anything I could buy!

Day 14 .... Arrow

A photo I took in 1993....my first ever trip to France.  Just got off the ferry in Calais, looking for the bus to Paris...the arrows said it all.....I was bubbling with excitement!!

Two fantastic logos from two businesses that I love....bright, clear, fun, unfussy and happy.  Your logo is your business and every time these two logos run through my news feed on Facebook, they always catch my eye.

Day 3.....Coin

Coin laundrette....love the coin dryers, not that many places around anymore that take coins.  My local laundrette is still stuck in a 70's time warp and I love it.
